How do I get an article to appear on the home page of my web site?
To display an article on the front page of your web site will depend on how your site's homepage layout has been set up. In most cases, however, all you'll need to do is select the Feature this article on the web site front page option, on the Properties tab of the document editor.
Don't know how to access the document editor?

I've selected the 'appear on the front page' option but it still doesn't display on my homepage?
If you've selected the 'Feature this article on the web site front page' option and saved your selection then here are some reasons why your article still might not be displaying on the home page of your web site:
Have you refreshed your browser? If you've only just selected the article to appear on the front page you'll need to refresh the homepage in your browser (Ctrl+F5) key to update your front page.
Can you view the article elsewhere on the web site? Make sure you can access the article in the area of the web site it was published in? If you can't see it then it might be because you don't have access to view it. Check the visibility setting of the article as this might be preventing you from accessing it. Refer to Publishing Security guide to read more about the different content visibility levels.
Is your homepage layout set up to display front page articles? A homepage layout requires an article list component that is set up to specifically display front page articles in order for articles to automatically appear on the frontpage when the 'appear on the front page' option is selected for an article. Check your frontpage layout contains an article list component that is set up to display front page articles.
